Are You Cut out for Marriage?

CPB chairman Jon Pritchett had a problem…

He and his wife Helen were invited to a friends wedding last week.  Unfortunately Helen had already pre-booked to go to Barbados with friends, something she could not ‘get out of’.

But Jon did not want to go alone - or at least appear in the photos alone. The simple solution (apart from post production photoshop retouching!) Why not take a life size cut out of Helen with him?!

So that is exactly what we did - from a small photo we created a life size full colour digital print of Helen onto light weight foamex  - Jon simply carried 'her' around with him so that Helen could appear in all the relevant wedding photos…

The photos show Jo with ‘Helen’ prior to and after cutting out as well as Jon and ‘Helen’ at the wedding - it just look so real!

Jon comments “Worked well - incredible. Fooled a lot of people”.

The ParaSnow Ball 2019

The ParaSnow Ball raises money for Disability Snowsports UK (DSUK) this charity focusses on helping people with disabilities, no matter how severe, to experience skiing and snowboarding as well as fun on the snow. We call it the “Power of Powder”.

This prestigious event was held at the famous Hurlingham Club in central London. Patron of DSUK Pippa Middleton was in attendance and Jonny was introduced to her as part of DSUK’s extended team. PE Creative are proud to help and support DSUK, having helped them with their creative branding, literature, signage and graphics.

CEO of DSUK Mark Kelvin reported that over £30,000 was raised on the evening and that ‘every single penny will go to ensuring that disabled people can experience the Power of Powder”. Making for a truly successful night.

Pippa Middleton said she has been 'truly inspired' at how DSUK 'transforms lives'.

 The evening was hosted by Alex Brooker (host of The Last Leg) who not only kept things moving really well but also raised more than a few laughs…

RSM move into new premises this month and to go with the move, a brand new interior concept was devised by PE Creative to help them to create a totally immersive experience for their customers.

By reading the walls, any RSM representative can 'pitch the RSM story and services' to any visitor.

From concept through to final execution, very few changes were made. A testament to RSM's clear direction and marketing savvy.

We recently heard the news that PE Creative client's Scoffield Stone / Our House estate and lettings agents have been awarded as one of the UKs top 20% agencies. They may even have won - but we won't know that until November!

When it comes to Cocktails, Denmaur know how to mix one!

This funky swatch was created in order to showcase the beautiful pearl / metallic effect stock.

We love the effect and have already used it on a number of jobs for various customers.

The effects include spot UV varnish, die stamping, embossing, glitter effect ink, litho and screen print.

Go West!

It was a real pleasure earlier in June to be invited to Westfield Health's internal Comms Day.

The day is designed to give Westfield staff an opportunity to learn and gain knowledge about various company activity.

Feedback on the day itself was very positive with everyone involved having input and as far as I could tell everyone seemed really upbeat and excited but the prospect of the future.

Professor Steve Hake was the guest speaker and enthralled his audience with a superb talk about social health and wellbeing, along with some shocking facts about lifespan and 'healthy lifespan' disparity between different demographics.

PE Creative were in attendance because we produced all the voxpop videos and presentation material used on the day. We were also able to help by creating and unique microsite illustrating the Westfield timeline for activity. This interactive tool allows staff to see who and what is happening within the Group as well as being able to feedback to the HR department.

HR Manager Fiona Lowe commented "Thanks for all your help Jonny, its been a fantastic day and feedback is really great"

As a special guest it was a real privilege to have been invited and it gave me an insight into the culture and background of the Group, which will prove essential for future projects.

Revive creates the right impression

Impressionist and comedian Jon Culshaw was on hand to raise some laughter at the Denmaur Revive Launch event last night  The event hosted by Denmaur Independent Paper was held at the London Hippodrome and was attended by over 150 leading professionals from the print and publishing industry.

Speakers included Jonathan Porrittt (uk government chief advisor on climate change) Jonathan Tame and Roger Wilson (from World Lamd Trust) and Julia Young (from the World Wildlife Fund). 

All focused on how climate change will affect business in the future with particular emphasis on carbon emissions.

It's good to know that Revive paper from Denmaur is totally carbon offset, in short this means that customers can be confident that the Revive paper they buy is carbon neutral. Good for the planet and good for the future.

Parkhouse Evans Creative are very proud to have helped Denmaur to re-launch the Revive brand. We developed all the advertising, invites, event packs, and collateral to promote the brand. It seems the whole industry are happy to see Revive back and as a true force for good!
