This year we created a simple but effective annual report for Eckoh. Using especially commissioned photographs the report conveys a feeling of quiet authority and confidence.

We enjoyed working on this in particular as it involves a high degree of integrity and confidential processes.

Hip Hip Hippo

Jonny was lucky enough to play golf at the famous Formby Golf Club links last week.

The course is famous for hosting a number of very good events including the British Amateur and the Arnold Palmer Cup to name but two.

It was a windy and wet day not ideal for golf, but often is the case at a links course. Play was suspended for around 20 minutes during a downpour. I’d like to say I played well, but sadly it was a below average game for me!

One of the features of Formby is the ‘hippo’ when one of the members bequeathed a hippo to the club. The hippos was strapped to a warship and upon return from service has been on the wall at Formby ever since. Each year members play for the Hippo Trophy!

Interns and Rockin’ Robyn

During the Summer of ’19 we had a number of interns doing work experience with us. This has always been something that we have always tried to promote at PE Creative.

This year we had three interns: Alice, from Woodlands School, Ted from Borrowash School and Robyn from Birmingham University. All, three were encouraged to develop Apple Mac skills and to help develop their design ability.

Who Let the Dogs Out..?!!

When Tara Worth decided to start a dog grooming business we were delighted to help her.
We created a simple but eye-catching brand for “A Mutt Above”. Using simple graphics this branding will ensure that Tara’s business becomes recognisable and approachable.

In addition to the logo we further developed this signage too - so if you have a dog that needs grooming, well - you know where to go!

Charlotte Thompson - A Big Hitter on the LET

PE Creative are proud to sponsor ladies European Tour player Charlotte Thompson.

Charlotte met Jonny in Spain when she finished in second place at the Reserva Club, Sotogrande.  More recently she finished second in the Czech Open in Prague.  It's been a great season so far and with three events to go, we all hope she can go one better!!!

One of the longest hitters on the LET Charlotte is excited to be partnering with PE Creative and just "loves the logo on her bag"!

Charlotte sports the PE logo on her tour bag - we hope to help develop her website next season along with her overall branding too.

Designer Furniture…

Maybe not quite designer, but these stools were decorated by Jonny at Ikea in Munich. On a recent trip abroad we were given the chance to design our own stools using a variety of materials. I decided to keep mine simple, as is my style…!!!

I was very happy with the final results too...

You can't win them all...!!!

On a hot sunny day last weekend I was was delighted to win the Golfino Invitational event. Hosted by the Martina and Sandra, from Golfino Clothing, this event saw some 60 plus golfers taking on the links...

Shooting a stableford score of 41 points was a suprise - it was just one of those days when the game just 'clicked'. Those of you who play golf will know this feeling. It's very hard to replicate but gives us all hope and inspiration to play more!


After the event there was even a fashion show with some of Golfino's latest catalogue being showcased on the catwalk - if you like golf fashion then you'll love Golfino. The day ended with a delicious pizza supper and high hopes for more good golf.

So, it was with high hopes that I entered the Kedleston Park Seniors competition the following Sunday.

All was going well and after 7 holes I was only two over par, so on track for a good score so it seemed...that was until a mind blowing (in the wrong kind of way) five over on the notorious 7th!

This simple 153 yard par three over water has scuppered many a good round and mine on this day was no exception! I put two balls in the water...then after a five off the tee ended up making a soul destrying eight, thus using up over half my handicap allowance.

Just like life, golf deals us highs and lows and we should never take a good score for granted - enjoy the good times and forget the bad...!!!
